About Us
Abofra Foundation is a registered (D.S.W/7101) non-profit organization with the Department of Social in Ghana, established on January, 2016 by our founder, Kwasi Ampadu is run by a team of volunteers. Abofra means child in our local Twi parlance in Ghana. The reason for the choice of name is that, children are the hope and future leaders of every town, community, country or nation. So the well-being of children is of our great concern.
Under the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals, Abofra Foundation is impactful and operational in Education, Good Health and Well Being and Decent Work and Economic Growth.
To empower every child in Ghana especially the deprived from the ages of 6 to 12years with our free I.C.T training through our CAS (Computer Afternoon School) Project.
With Abofra Art (AA) Project, we seek to empower deprived children through imagination, children generate ideas, and ideas are the engine of today’s global economy
Raising generational innovators in underserved communities in Ghana to solve local problems through our Free I.C.T Education Project.
In our 3-point strategic approach to ICT for development we aim at:
