Abofra Foundation spent some quality time with deprived children from Old Fadama (Agbogboloshie) community, now relocated to Madina – Accra on the April 3, 2016. Per our Community Outreach Program, we believe the life of every child matters so we occasionally visit deprived communities and towns in Ghana to empower children by way of education and taking part in community services such as cleaning exercises and more.
Old Fadama also known as “Sodom and Gomorrah” was a former wetland and suburb of Accra – Ghana.
Due to the pollution, dumping of electronic waste, etc the Government of Ghana relocated settlers to Madina.

We were captured in the national newspaper (The Spectator)
We had a talk on personal hygiene and education. The children were happy to know they are the future leaders of the country and why they should be healthy enough to take over when they grow up.
Below are some photos of activities.
